Prairie Actors Once Again Recognized at State Level

For the second consecutive year, the Upper School Players and Prairie’s Performing Arts Department received significant recognition from The Jerry Awards, the preeminent High School Music Awards organization in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Prairie was nominated for 11 total awards for their production of Mamma Mia! this spring in the categories of Lead Performance, Supporting Performance, Outstanding Direction, Outstanding Stage Management, Outstanding Scenic Design, and Outstanding Costume Design.

Prairie faculty members Melissa Flynn and Ben Wagner won in the category of Outstanding Scenic Design.

The 2019 Jerry Awards were held on June 9th, 2019 at the Overture Center for the Arts in Madison, WI.
