Who can attend The Prairie School’s Summer Programs?
All Hawks’ Haven divisions are open to the public.
What is the cost?
Hawks’ Haven can be purchased at a rate of $250 per week.
Is there a discount for additional children from the same family?

What are the hours each day?
Hawks’ Haven runs from 8:45 am – 3:45 pm.
Do you offer extended care?
Wraparound care is available in the morning from 7:15 – 8:45 am and in the evening from 3:45 – 6:00 pm.
Do you serve lunch? Breakfast? Snacks?
Snacks are provided twice daily. Lunch is not provided. Students must bring a bag lunch with them to camp each day.

What is the student:teacher ratio?
Our student: teacher ration is 7:1.
Do your younger students nap?
Students in the nest take a one hour rest and read time daily.
Do you go on field trips?
We typically go on one off campus field trip per week. Additionally, we bring entertainment and activities to our campus throughout the summer.
Can my child attend a specialty camp as well as Hawks’ Haven? What if the two conflict?
We do our best to provide drop off and pick up service to most of our specialty camps. However, please note that some Prairie Summer Program activities conflict with camp activities and field trips. During Hawks’ Haven field trips, we cannot make special accommodations for those enrolled in summer programs and other activities. Who are their teachers?
The Hawks’ Haven staff are made up of high quality certified teachers, college students, and high school students. In order to select the highest quality staff for our campers, all staff members go through a thorough training and interview process.
